Terms of use

The service

Biblolingo is an iPhone app that teaches the Bible through short lessons. Biblo, the lamb, guides the path. The website at www.biblolingo.com describes the app. By downloading the app or starting a subscription, you agree to these terms.

What the lessons are

Lessons are a learning aid. They are not a church, a pastoral counsel, or an official Bible translation. English uses the World English Bible. French uses Louis Segond 1910. Spanish uses Reina-Valera 1909. Italian uses the Riveduta 1927. Brazilian Portuguese uses Bíblia Livre under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Brazil licence. The other four texts are in the public domain. The lesson writing, the mascot and the app itself belong to their publisher.

Subscription and free trial

Biblolingo Premium is a yearly auto-renewable subscription. A 3-day free trial is offered at the start. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, Apple charges the yearly price to your Apple ID. The subscription then renews each year until you cancel it in Settings, your name, Subscriptions. The US price configured for the yearly plan is $49.99. Apple shows the price for your storefront before you confirm. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. There is no ongoing free tier after the welcome lesson.

Lifetime purchase

Lifetime access is a one-time purchase. The US price is $99.99. It does not renew. Apple handles the payment and any refund request. You can choose the yearly plan, with a 3-day free trial, instead.

Acceptable use

Use the app for your own learning. Do not copy the lesson set, the mascot or the app to build a competing product, and do not try to break the subscription check.

Disclaimer

The app is provided as it is available on the App Store. Lessons can be added or corrected. We do not promise a particular spiritual outcome.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the publisher is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the app or the site. Nothing in these terms limits a right that cannot legally be limited.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of France, except where mandatory consumer rules of your country say otherwise.
